Hi, my name is Renan(he’nan), but everyone calls me Negrinho; which literally translates to something like “little black”. I am the youngest of three brothers, and we live with my mother and her boyfriend. He works in construction when he can find the work, but things are difficult right now because of the pandemic. He is a good guy, but likes to drink to help him relax. We don’t always have enough food at the house, and I often have to help out by selling the salty snacks my “aunt” makes at the bus stop and in the park. When I am not helping my mom or stepdad, I enjoy running around with the other boys of the community and playing soccer. I'm a very lovable kid and a great athlete!
