Project Água Viva is the result of a private donor seeing a need within our community, and then partnering with us to see that need was met. The project was completed in September of 2021. As you may have already read on our home page, it is designed to provide our community with a source of clean, free, potable water. Hoisted roughly 20ft. in the air is our 3000 liter reservoir, which is automatically filled by a pump nearly 200ft. below. The mineral water is pulled from the same aquifer that a popular water bottle company in our community uses, and is of the finest quality in the region. The spigots located on the external wall of our project, provide 24/7 access for members of our community, which they use for drinking, cooking, and bathing.
