Gilma BlackmerProject Administrator
Gilma is happily married with three children, and is a member of the First Reformed Presbiterian Church of Aldeia. She is also a member of the Council for the Rights and Defense of Children and Adolescents in the city of Camaragibe. She has worked as a professional hotel chef, taught culinary arts classes as part of a program to promote social mobility and economic independence, and has spent the last 9 years working as the project coordinator for a non-profit working with the at-risk girls in the community. She is currently working towards earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and is working as an intern attending members of the community. She enjoys going on walks in nature with her family and the neighborhood children, where they are able to pick fresh fruits and enjoy a healthy snack. When she is walking, she feels closer to God and His creation, and uses it as a way to recharge after a long day’s work.
