Through the combined effort of our city councilman: Heldinho Moura, and the greater A Fonte family, Project Mais ​Saúde was born, which seeks to improve the quality of life of older women within the community. Our hydro gymnastics class meets twice a week and is led by a professional aquatic therapist. These classes improve the cardiovascular fitness, balance, and mobility of the women we serve while also giving them time to connect and have fun! Read more…
After walking around the community of Ostracil, it was clear to us that somebody somewhere needed to do something. And so, the greater A Fonte family began to pray about how we could help. Our prayers were answered over the next few weeks: as someone donated a stove and refrigerator, and our produce donations doubled. We are now blessed to be able to distribute soup twice a week to over 50 families!  Read more…
Our staff’s dream has always been to provide the community with clean, free, potable water. However, because of the significant upfront costs, it seemed that it would remain that way forever. That was until a donor came to us and explained his desire to honor his late father, whose dream was the same. It was clear that God had other plans in mind. Project Agua Viva is the fulfillment of that God-sized dream.
